PDF to Word
Turn a PDF into a Word document you can edit, with its text, headings, bold and italics.
Your files never leave your device. Everything happens in this browser tab. Nothing is uploaded, and closing the tab erases it.
How it works
- Drop the PDF you want to edit in Word.
- Press Convert to Word.
- Open the .docx in Word, Google Docs, Pages or LibreOffice.
Questions
Is my PDF uploaded anywhere?
No. The conversion runs inside your browser, on your device.
What comes across?
The text, in reading order, as paragraphs you can edit, with headings, bold, italics, font sizes and a new page for each page of the PDF.
What doesn’t?
Images, tables and columns are not rebuilt: tables and columns come out as plain paragraphs. For a document that must look exactly the same, keep the PDF and use Sign PDF or Organize PDF on it instead.
Can it convert a scanned document?
Only if the scan already holds text, as scans from apps like Adobe Scan usually do. A plain picture of a page has no text to convert, and Dozo tells you so.
