A free, open-source Fathom alternative

Fathom is a polished, hosted, cookie-free analytics service from $15 a month. Dozokit Analytics does the same job for one owner, for free, in your own Cloudflare account.

	Fathom	Dozokit Analytics
Price	7-day trial with a card, then from $15 a month for 100,000 pageviews.	Free and open source. Cloudflare’s free plan covers about 9,000 pageviews a day.
Where it runs	Hosted only: Fathom can’t be self-hosted.	In your own Cloudflare account, deployed in one click. AGPL-3.0.
Cookies and identifiers	No tracking cookies; visitor signatures with a salt that changes daily.	No cookies and no IP address. A random visitor id in the browser’s localStorage, renewed after 13 months. Browsers sending Global Privacy Control aren’t counted.
Where the data lives	EU visitors are processed on EU servers; anonymized analytics are stored in the US.	In a database in your own Cloudflare account. Nothing goes to a third party. Visits are deleted after 25 months.
Goals and events	Yes, events.	Yes, with properties.
Revenue tracking	Yes, on every plan.	No.
Team access	No user accounts yet: dashboards are shared by link.	No: one password.
Sites	50 sites included, more in packs of 50 for $10 a month.	As many as you add, with an All sites view.

What Fathom does that Dozokit Analytics doesn’t

Nothing to run, revenue tracking, EU data isolation, 50 sites on every plan, an API and email reports, with a company looking after it for you.

Which one to use

Pick Fathom if you’d rather pay someone to run it. Pick Dozokit Analytics if you want the same kind of cookie-free dashboard for free, with the code open and the data in your own account.

Install it yourself

The button creates a Worker and a database in your Cloudflare account, then asks you for a password of at least 12 characters. That password opens your dashboard.
