A free Wix alternative: Claude builds your site
Wix does almost everything a website can do, and your own domain comes with a paid plan. Dozokit Sites does less: Claude builds a site for your business, and it runs on your own domain in your own Cloudflare account, free.
| Wix | Dozokit Sites | |
|---|---|---|
| Price | Free plan. Paid plans $17, $29, $39 and $159 a month, billed yearly (US dollars shown for reference; prices vary by location). | Free and open source. As many sites as you want, free, from one install. They share Cloudflare’s free plan: 100,000 requests a day. |
| The AI | An AI website builder that makes a site from a prompt. | Claude, on your own Claude plan (the Free plan included). Dozokit Sites itself calls no AI. |
| Your own domain | Needs a Premium plan. | Yes, free to connect. The domain itself costs what your registrar charges. |
| Branding on your site | Wix branding on free sites; a Premium plan removes it. | None. |
| Where it runs | Wix’s service. | In your own Cloudflare account. Download any site as plain files. |
What Wix does that Dozokit Sites doesn’t
Online store, bookings, thousands of templates, a drag-and-drop editor, large sites and 24/7 customer care.
Which one to use
Pick Wix for a shop or a large site. Pick Dozokit Sites for a business site on your own domain, without Wix branding or a monthly plan.
Install it yourself
It takes about ten minutes. You need a Cloudflare account, a GitHub account and a Claude account, all three free. The button sets everything up in your Cloudflare account and asks you for the password that will protect Dozokit Sites.
