Is my PDF uploaded anywhere?
No. The compression runs inside your browser, on your device.
Does it change the text?
No. Text stays sharp and selectable. Dozo shrinks the photos and scans inside the PDF, which is where almost all the size comes from.
Why did my file barely shrink?
A PDF made mostly of text is already compact. The biggest savings come from scanned documents and PDFs full of photos.
