Compress PDF to 100KB

Get a PDF under 100 KB for an application form or upload portal that refuses bigger files.

Your files never leave your device. Everything happens in this browser tab. Nothing is uploaded, and closing the tab erases it.

    How it works

    1. Drop the PDF that is over 100 KB.
    2. Press Compress to 100 KB: Dozo tries stronger settings until the file fits.
    3. The PDF downloads with its new size shown. Check it before you upload it.

    Questions

How do I compress a PDF to 100 KB?

Drop the PDF here and press Compress to 100 KB. Dozo shrinks the photos and scans inside it, a little more at each try, until the file is under 100 KB, then downloads it.

    Is my PDF uploaded anywhere?

No. The compression runs inside your browser, on your device. That matters for ID cards, certificates and mark sheets.

Will every PDF get under 100 KB?

Not every one. A scan or photo of a few pages usually fits. A long PDF, or one made mostly of text, can stay above: Dozo then downloads the smallest version it could make and tells you its size. Removing the pages you don’t need, or splitting the PDF, gets it smaller.

    Will it still be readable?

Typed text stays sharp and selectable. Scans and photos get softer the more they are shrunk, so zoom in on the result before you send it.

Is 100 KB counted as 100,000 bytes or 102,400 bytes?

Portals count it both ways, so Dozo aims under 100,000 bytes: the file passes either way.
