Free QR code generator

Type a link, text, Wi-Fi network, contact or email, pick your colours, add a logo, and download a PNG or SVG. The code holds what you typed, so it never expires.

Colours and logo

PNG, JPG or SVG. It sits in the middle; the code is made sturdier to make room for it.

What you type never leaves your device. Everything happens in this browser tab. Nothing is uploaded, and closing the tab erases it.

How it works

  1. Pick what the code holds: a link, text, a Wi-Fi network, a contact or an email, and fill it in.
  2. Choose its colours and add your logo if you like. The preview updates as you type.
  3. Download a PNG for screens and everyday prints, or an SVG for print at any size. Scan it once with your phone before you print.

Questions

Does this QR code expire?

No. It is a static code: what you typed is written into the pattern itself, with no server in between that could stop answering. It keeps working for as long as the page or details it holds exist.

What is the difference between a static and a dynamic QR code?

A static code holds the content itself: free and permanent, but fixed once printed. A dynamic code holds a short link to a service that forwards each scan to your page, so you can change the destination later and count scans. Most QR services switch their dynamic codes off when you stop paying, which breaks everything already printed.

Can I change where the code leads after printing it?

Not with a static code: the address is part of the pattern. If you might need to change it, or want to count scans, use Dozokit Links: dynamic codes and short links that run in your own free Cloudflare account, so no one can switch them off.

Is what I type sent anywhere?

No. The code is drawn in your browser. Your Wi-Fi password, contact details and logo stay on your device.

Will it still scan with my logo and colours?

With a logo, the code uses the strongest error correction, so phones read it even with its middle covered. Keep a dark colour on a light background with strong contrast: the page warns you when the colours are too close or inverted. Always test-scan before printing.

PNG or SVG?

PNG for websites, documents and most prints. SVG for large prints and design tools such as Canva, Figma or Illustrator: it stays sharp at any size.
