An Umami alternative with no server to run

Umami is open source and cookie-free, with a generous free cloud plan. Hosting it yourself means running Node.js and PostgreSQL; Dozokit Analytics runs on Cloudflare Workers and installs in one click.

	Umami	Dozokit Analytics
Price	Free Hobby plan (100K events a month, 1 site, 6 months of data); Pro from $20 a month.	Free and open source. Cloudflare’s free plan covers about 9,000 pageviews a day.
Where it runs	Umami Cloud, or self-host it (MIT licence) on a server with Node.js and PostgreSQL.	In your own Cloudflare account, deployed in one click. AGPL-3.0.
Cookies and identifiers	The tracker uses no cookies.	No cookies and no IP address. A random visitor id in the browser’s localStorage, renewed after 13 months. Browsers sending Global Privacy Control aren’t counted.
Where the data lives	Umami Cloud lists subprocessors in the US and the EU.	In a database in your own Cloudflare account. Nothing goes to a third party. Visits are deleted after 25 months.
Goals and events	Yes, on every plan, Hobby included.	Yes, with properties.
Funnels	Yes, Hobby included.	No.
Revenue tracking	Yes, Hobby included.	No.
Team access	Up to 10 members on Pro; none on Hobby.	No: one password.
Sites	1 on Hobby, up to 20 on Pro.	As many as you add, with an All sites view.

What Umami does that Dozokit Analytics doesn’t

Funnels, revenue, retention and user journeys even on the free plan, teams from Pro, session replays and heatmaps on Business, and a more permissive licence (MIT).

Which one to use

Pick Umami Cloud if you want funnels and revenue for free and don’t mind your data on Umami’s servers. Pick Dozokit Analytics if you want to own the data without looking after a server and a database.

Install it yourself

The button creates a Worker and a database in your Cloudflare account, then asks you for a password of at least 12 characters. That password opens your dashboard.
